ARTIST'S STATEMENT
"When I started to paint I realized that I had finally learned to see.
I now marvel over things that I had never paid attention to before. Light, color, pattern, depth, contrast, texture. This is what I love to paint.
Closely cropped views of my subjects strive to underscore this focus by eliminating less important, distracting elements."
